I saw an article this morning talking about how outraged the Catholics are at a picture of the Pope painting Christ or something. (Maybe he’s sculpting those religious abs.) Whatever, the point is why not just turn the other cheek? How does that saying go? What Would Jesus Do? Would Jesus flaunt around making a big deal about this? No, probably not. If he was smart the Pope would get out on his little balcony, mumble a few words and then start laughing.
That’s right, the Pope should just laugh it off. The more you bitch about something the more people will start to wonder if maybe there’s something else you’re trying to make up for. It’s like gay people. They still think they have to march up and down the street declaring their sexuality when in reality the rest of the planet doesn’t care.
“Oh, you’re gay? So what, whoopidy shit, no one cares but you.”
“Someone painted a picture of the Pope? Whoopidy shit, no one cares but the Catholics.”
And on one final note, is this really what’s making the Catholics look bad? Alter boys anyone?

Interestingly my laptop that’s running Ubuntu opens and loads images faster than my main machine running Windows. I’m using the same browser and my laptop is nowhere near as fast as my desktop.

Well, for those of you who have been following my job status for the past forever will be interested in knowing that my appointment today has been rescheduled for Monday. Yup, the person I was supposed to talk with today called and informed me that she is out of the office sick. This pleases me, not because she’s sick but simply because she was honest and didn’t just go in and blow it off like it was nothing. Boosts my confidence with her, (not that my confidence was wanning or anything).
Anyway, back to what I was doing before I checked my phone and realized a certain someone had wished me good luck and to let him know how things went. Well, M, I’ll let you know on Monday!
